Day 149 At Sea
Today was just magnificent! After our recent sea days of gloomy weather today’s blistering hot weather was quite welcome. We are on our first of 3 sea days heading for Padang Bai, Bali. There is just one catch…… the Captain, during his 1300 daily status report, gave us an update on Cat 3 Tropical Cyclone Nicholas. Apparently we will be within two hundred miles of that bad boy and we will start feeling the effects by tomorrow morning. We will not be in harm’s way because or Captain never takes chances with the ship, guests and crew. I must admit that the weather on this World Voyage doesn’t even come close to last year’s. I believe we had two rainy days last year and no rough seas…. Oh joy! If it is windy and rough tomorrow I hope the sun is shining. We can lash ourselves to the deck and get some nice Cyclone tanning rays…. They are some of the best! The only thing better is a goose bump tan, magnificent. I’ll just have to hope for the best.

Neither rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail shall keep the tan man from his appointed lounge chair....
