Day 103 Roatan, Honduras

Talk about a great start to the New Year! I had the perfect beach day in Roatan…. West Bay is the ticket to a great day at the beach. The skies were sunny, powdery white sand, crystal clear water and a magnificent reef (second largest barrier reef in the world). I went to the Mayan Princess resort which is right down the beach from my favorite spot, Tabyana Beach. HAL doesn’t off a shore excursion to Tabyana so I made my own, great stuff. This place is growing up…. not real happy about that. The crowds are a bit larger than the old days but it’s still great. Tomorrow we are going to Cozumel Mexico. Let’s see…. 8 ships and a tendering operation, yeah right. The Captain just made an announcement to basically hang on, rough seas, wind and rain ahead. Apparently we are sailing into some kind of storm over the Yucatan. We may not tender tomorrow after all. Rough seas can change everything…. World Voyage just a few days away……… Sandra and Allan better not get stuck in Denver. I hear they are having a bit of adverse weather as well. Good luck!
