Day 102 Georgetown, Grand Cayman Happy New Year!

We arrived at anchorage outside Georgetown, Grand Cayman around 0700 this morning. I got ashore early and did a couple of errands (sunglasses repaired and black coral ring shined up) and was still the first one at the beach at Royal Palms. It was an absolute perfect day in my personal paradise. Grand Cayman is truly one of my absolute favorite places. After returning back to the ship I continued to enjoy the sun until Sail Away…. Wonderful Day!!!!!! What a way to start the New Year’s celebration. To top it off the Captain & his wife gave me a rum cake (a personal addiction for me). What a day!

I'm guessing it's a formal night tonight - what color tie and cummerbund for the grand occasion? Something "festive" I hope.

Have a great NYE!

Jeff-

From no acknowledgement from the captain to a rum cake, it looks as if your 2008 is starting in the right direction. Happy New Year -

Hope all is well-

Happy New Years Jeff:
Hope 2008 is warm and sunny for you. Judging by the next 100 days it's off to a good start.
In your first photo I think someone has an eye on you? From the ship???

Royal Palms looks great. One of our favorites, too!! Have a Healthy and Happy 2008. We will be tuning in every day.

I took Jo to The Big Fish Grill in Rehoboth when she got home from work today. Significant because when we started dinner she was about three hours into her retirement.
We then went home, started a movie and proceeded to fall asleep sometime before midnight before the movie was over. Some things never change.

We are going to have a sensational New Year, and we hope that you have the same. Hopefully I can talk Jo into taking some extended vacations now that we are both off the clock.

Happy New Year!

Bill

Hi Jeff,
We have been trying to follow the trip to contact you, but have not had too much luck. We enjoyed our stasy on the 10 day right before Christmas and had a great time with you at dinner with the table mates. Keep hanging in there.
