Day 163 Halong Bay, Vietnam

I, as promised, took the Ha Long Bay Cruise & Thien Cong Cave tour. The scenary here in Ha Long Bay is breathtaking. I can see why it’s referred to as the “descending dragon”. Allan, Sandra & I were on the first Junk out and went directly to the caves. Caverns would be a better term to use. They were spectacular! Today was a photographer’s playground. You just couldn’t get enough of the scenery. After out tour we went directly ashore into the town. It was very nice… We had a great lunch at a little Vietnamese restaurant. We shopped a bit at the shops and stalls along the beach. Everything is so cheap here, nice contrast to many of the places we visited. We had a great day. You can tell from the photo that Allan gave it two thumbs up!
